Introduction.
Attention Industry is about narrative as the most important tool in building a brand, experiences and connections.
Not telling people a story, but creating a story that can be incorporated into their lives.
My aim is for this to be a collection of media / communications concepts, and examples of work that I think fit the mold of what comes next.
Idea driven, fast, iterative, inexpensive, and relevant both to the audience and the narrative.
I went with Attention Industry because, at the end of the day, that is what the adver-marketing-communications industries do: they inform, but they attract attention. The product, at some point, has to do the rest. Sustained attention is just the best possible starting point.
Building engagement and desire otherwise isn’t going to work, in a time of forced transparency.
[Attention Industry is in the early, undefined stages. Expect change.]
