You will have an ideal, you will have a Way Of Doing Things that you will consider inviolate.
You will also need to keep yourself working, afloat, and able to support your workload, any necessary expansions, etc.
If your ideal isn’t equipped, from the beginning, to deal with the realities of survival, reconsider it. Look at your plan, and decide what of your ideal is necessary and realistic, and what is a reaction to the idea that sometimes work isn’t uniformly delightful.
Learn to take pride in how you do what you do. The situations in which you do it will, in part, be determined by need, rather than preference.
